About

In 2009, Maura re-established herself in Halifax and ventured into the exciting field of real estate after a twenty-three year career in the airline industry in both Halifax and Vancouver. Her many years of experience in customer care combined with her love of Halifax made her a perfect fit for the industry. Maura has an honest, reliable approach and the ability to put clients at ease. She is direct and able to effectively hone in on individual needs. Her knowledge of local neighbourhoods and school districts is an asset to those looking to buy or sell their home. She can even tell you which hockey rinks sell the best fries – in both official languages! Raised in Halifax, Maura graduated from Dalhousie University’s language department with a degree in French in 1988. She also earned a FNF at Laval in 1986, and enjoyed immersing herself in the French culture of Quebec City during her studies. She then earned a TESL diploma from SMU in 1994. A working mother of two teenage boys, she still finds time to actively give back to her community. She's spent a lot of time volunteering with her local PTA, put in 15 years of door to door fundraising for the Canadian Cancer Society, and volunteered many hours at fundraising events for Thyroid Cancer Care NS, Provincial Hockey and Lacrosse teams. She is currently on the selection committee for A Home For Everyone Fund. Around all that Maura loves to travel and keep active through tennis, running, golf, hiking, cycling and skiing. She especially loves to socialize with her much beloved family and friends. With her delightful, easy-going manner and ability to make everyone feel at home, Maura will make your buying or selling experience an enjoyable and smooth one.
