REALTOR® / Real Estate Advisor
Having grown up in the Halifax’s West End, this city holds a special place in my heart. Compared to other parts of Canada, Halifax, Nova Scotia, is a livable city with a low cost of living, short commutes, great public schools and safe communities. I love being able to share my favorite restaurants, local shops, beaches, and tourist attractions with people putting down roots in this beautiful city and province.
I started in Real Estate in 2013, when the market was struggling both locally and nationally. During this time, I worked with one of Halifax’s top Realtors and learned that selling homes involves more than putting a sign on the lawn. The invaluable strategy I learned to list, sell, and market properties during a down market has given my listing clients a competitive advantage now that the market has rebounded. During this time, I also gained the experience necessary to successfully match my clients with their dream home.
My decision to join Engel & Völkers was driven by changes in the local Real Estate Market. For the first time in years, Nova Scotia is experiencing positive immigration numbers and as a result the number of international buyers in our city and province is growing daily. Engel & Volkers’ EDGE (Extensive Domestic and Global Exposure) platform ensures listings appear on the most popular property search sites and provides access to unparalleled print marketing opportunities, as well as a host of other distinctive marketing measures. Advances in technology have changed how we sell homes and I am committed to staying on top of new trends to ensure that your property will reach potential buyers locally and around the world.
Your home is where you have enjoyed or will enjoy making memories with friends and family. Buying or selling a home is not only a big financial decision, but an emotional one. It is important that you find a trusted Advisor to guide you through the process. My clients have described me as: knowledgeable, professional, patient, detailed, attentive and honest. And for those curious about my educational background, I hold a Fellow of the Real Estate Industry (FRI) designation and a Masters in Business Administration from Saint Mary’s University. When not working with clients, I can be found on adventures with my two dogs, volunteering with the SPCA and playing tourist in my own province. I love trying new restaurants and cafes or enjoying tastings at one of our local wineries or craft breweries.
I look forward to connecting with you and helping you achieve your real estate goals.
